Welcome, PocketbikeGP.com was created as
a way for pocketbike racers to meet an organize pocket bike events.
The plan at pocketbikeGP.com is to create a Pocket Bike Grand Prix
Parking Lot Racing Series of races through out the San Francisco Bay
Area with racing classes divided up by age, weight, and skill level
in an effort to make it fun for every one. Looking for people to help organize
groups in your area for practice.
|
| FAQ about the Club...
|
PocketbikeGP.com is a club started to organize Outlaw Parking Lot Racing with classes based on Age,
Weight, Skill level with Stock or Modified Pocketbike Equipment.
PocketbikeGP.com will be the online source for promoting the Pocketbike Parking lot Grand Prix Events
and maintaining the championship racer point system.
The club is organized into little local groups that can practice
together locally and then once or twice a month we will host regional style races that rotate city to city so
everyone gets a home race. To find people to practice with near you click here Let's Go Ride Then a couple times a year we will host a national type of event with cool prizes.
Where do you plan on racing? We started out hosting races in parking lots after hours and in vacant lots. But we have grown too big,
we now race inside the Solano County Fair Grounds, at Vallejo Speedway 2. We have ambulance service, restrooms, announcer, consession stand,
parts dealers. Our track is approx. 600ft long by 175ft wide, our coarse is fast and challanging for the beginner to the the expert.
What does it take to race? A good attitude, A Helmet with Current Snell Rating or Dot Equilvient, Leather or Equilivent
Motorcycle Riding Jacket and Pants, Gloves, Protective Shoes, and a Pocket bike Style Racer bike, SAFETY
IS VERY IMPORTANT....
How do I know when there is a race ?.The next race info will be posted on the Main page at least two weeks
before an event.
Always Wear Your Helmet
How do I get a racing number? They are first come first serve and are available with club membership. The top
10 numbers are based on points, and
are awarded once a year.
What are the racing classes? Our Current rules are Beginner ANY BIKE, Ladies, Stock China Bike, rider under 150 lbs, Stock Med 151-210 lbs,
Stock Heavy over 211 lbs. Mid size.SuperPocket Bike.Headlight Bike Class no weight limit. 4.2 Polini Class, Production Air Cooled bikes under 7hp.
